CycloBia Returns to Brownsville on Oct. 17

The City of Brownsville invites residents and visitors to lace up their sneakers, hop on their bikes, and join the community for another edition of CycloBia on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The event will take place across Linear Park, Washington Park, and Market Square, transforming Brownsville’s streets into a safe, car-free space where families and friends can enjoy cycling, walking, skating, and other outdoor activities.

CycloBia is more than just a fun evening out—it is part of the City’s effort to promote healthy living, active lifestyles, and community engagement. By temporarily closing streets to vehicles, the event encourages residents to experience their city in a new way while connecting with local businesses, organizations, and neighbors.

The event is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to bring their bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, or simply come ready to walk and explore.
