BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The City of Brownsville relocated the historic Neale House to Linear Park, moving the structure from 230 Neale Drive to 1400 E. Seventh St.
The coordinated move involved the Brownsville Police Department, the city Traffic Department and the contractor, who managed traffic and the structure’s transportation along the designated route.
The city said the relocation begins a new chapter for the Neale House and helps preserve the community landmark. Additional information about the house and its future plans will be shared as it becomes available.
