The Port of Brownsville has postponed its annual 5K1M Dock Dash because of expected rain. The free family run and walk is now scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31, at 8 a.m.
Participants who registered for the original date do not need to register again; their registration will carry over to the rescheduled event.
On-site registration will be available at 7 a.m. while supplies last. Pre-registered participants will receive a T-shirt while supplies last, and finishers will receive a medal while supplies last.
Adults entering port property must present a valid U.S. government-issued ID. Minors do not need an ID but must be accompanied by an adult.
