BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The City of Brownsville is inviting residents to help shape the community’s first Housing Master Plan during a second public open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Brownsville Golf Center.
The open house is part of the city’s continuing effort to gather public input on housing conditions, priorities and future needs. City officials said feedback from residents will help inform a long-range plan intended to guide local housing policy, investment and development as Brownsville grows.
The Housing Master Plan is expected to identify challenges and opportunities related to the availability, affordability and variety of housing in the city. Residents will be able to learn about the planning process and share their perspectives during the session.
The City said the plan will serve as a roadmap for future housing decisions and community growth. Additional information about the initiative is available through the City’s News Flash page.
