BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Brownsville voters will consider 15 proposed charter amendments in the Nov. 3 election, and election officials are encouraging residents to review the ballot before arriving at the polls.
Cameron County Elections Administrator Remi Garza said the number and length of the propositions could require voters to spend additional time in voting booths. Reviewing a sample ballot in advance can help voters understand the measures and may help reduce lines, he said.
Sample ballots are available through the Cameron County Elections Department. Voters may print a sample ballot and bring it with them to their polling location as a reference.
Early voting is scheduled for Oct. 19 through Oct. 30. Election Day is Nov. 3.
