Motorists traveling through Robinhood Drive can expect to see City of Brownsville Engineering & Public Works crews conducting scheduled roadway maintenance throughout the month of June. The project will include milling and overlay operations aimed at improving roadway conditions and enhancing the overall driving experience for residents and visitors in the area. Work will take place along Robinhood Drive from Old Port Isabel Road to Kings Highway beginning June 1 through June 30, 2026, daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Traffic control measures will be in place during construction activities to help ensure the safety of motorists and work crews.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down, remain alert in work zones, and plan for additional travel time while improvements are underway.
