Interim City Manager to Host 2026 Budget and Capital Improvement Program Community Meetings

Interim City Manager Alan Guard, CGFO, invites residents to attend a series of 2026 Budget and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Community Meetings aimed at keeping the public informed and engaged in the City’s financial planning process.

During these meetings, Guard will provide an overview of the City of Brownsville’s Fiscal Year 2026 budget priorities, planned investments, and upcoming infrastructure projects designed to support the community’s continued growth and development.

The three scheduled meetings offer residents an opportunity to learn more about how City resources are allocated and how strategic investments are shaping Brownsville’s future. Community members will also have the chance to ask questions and gain insight into projects and initiatives that impact their neighborhoods.
