Calling all pups and their people! The Brownsville Parks and Recreation Department is rolling out the purple, green, and gold carpet for the most paws-itively festive event of the season, Mardi Paws!
On Saturday, March 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Morningside Park will transform into a canine carnival filled with wagging tails, colorful costumes, and plenty of puppy pride. Dog owners are invited to bring their four-legged friends dressed in their best Mardi Gras-inspired attire for a morning of fun, fitness, and furry celebration.
For just $10 per household, participants can take part in a lively Dog Parade, a tail-wagging 1-Mile Fun Run, a spirited Costume Contest, and even more paw-some activities throughout the morning. The registration fee covers all household members, making it fun and affordable for the entire family.
Mardi Paws promises a morning packed with excitement, community spirit, and unforgettable memories.
The celebration takes place at Morningside Park, 1207 S. Central Ave.
Grab the beads, fluff those feathers, and join us as we let the good tails roll in Brownsville!
