UTRGV is offering a broad lineup of K-12 summer camps and enrichment programs across its Edinburg and Brownsville campuses.
The programs run throughout June, July and early August and are designed to keep students active, engaged and learning in a university environment.
Campers will use UTRGV classrooms, laboratories, art spaces and athletic venues while learning from university faculty, staff and student mentors.
The lineup includes C-STEM Summer Camps with hands-on science experiences, TX CIPHER youth programming focused on cybersecurity and technology, and Super Fuel Summer Camp, which uses cooking activities to teach nutrition and kitchen confidence.
Other offerings include railway safety and transportation programs that introduce engineering, robotics and problem solving, as well as AgDiscovery programming focused on agriculture, animal science and related careers.
Music camps for saxophone, marching band and piano give young musicians the opportunity to build skills under the guidance of School of Music faculty.
Athletics and University Recreation camps focus on physical activity, teamwork and skill development with UTRGV coaches and student-athletes.
UTRGV said registration deadlines, fees and space availability vary by program. Families can review specific camp dates and registration details through the university youth programs website.
