Get ready to make a splash this Memorial Day! As the community comes together to honor and remember, the City of Brownsville invites residents to celebrate a fun, family-friendly Memorial Splash Day at Sam’s Pool.
Hosted by the City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation Department, this FREE swim event will take place on Monday, May 25, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sams Pool, located at 501 E. Ringgold St. It’s the perfect way to cool off, spend quality time with loved ones, and kick off the summer season.
Families can enjoy an afternoon of refreshing pool time in a safe and welcoming environment designed for all ages. Whether you’re swimming, relaxing poolside, or simply soaking up the holiday spirit, Memorial Splash Day promises something for everyone.
To keep the day safe and enjoyable:
- Entry is first-come, first-served, with a maximum capacity of 200 participants
- Proper swim attire is required (no street clothes or cut-offs)
- An adult must accompany children under 16
