Early voting for the May 2 elections officially begins Monday, April 20, 2026, offering Cameron County residents multiple opportunities to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day.
Two of the designated early voting locations are housed in City of Brownsville facilities: the Brownsville Public Library System Main Branch, located at 2600 Central Blvd., and the Southmost Branch at 4320 Southmost Blvd. Registered voters may visit either site to participate in the runoff races during the early voting period.
Early voting will continue through April 28, providing residents with more flexibility and convenience to make their voices heard in the upcoming elections.
