Downtown Brownsville’s First Friday celebration will return with a country theme during this month’s Boots on the Block event.
The free celebration will feature live entertainment, local shopping, food, dancing, interactive activities, vendors and family-friendly experiences throughout downtown.
The event runs from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Guests are encouraged to walk downtown, use the free BTX Connect Shuttle or ride a pedicab while visiting local businesses and attractions.
Organizers say the event offers residents and visitors an opportunity to support local businesses, connect with neighbors and enjoy downtown Brownsville.
