The Brownsville Animal Regulation and Care Center will host a free community pet-food distribution Saturday, Sept. 12, at Morningside Dog Park.
The distribution is scheduled from 8 to 11 a.m., or while supplies last, at 1207 S. Central Ave. Brownsville residents may receive one bag of pet food per vehicle on a first-come, first-served basis.
Thirty dog houses also will be available while supplies last. The event is supported by VCA Charities and the ASPCA, according to the City of Brownsville.
BARCC encouraged residents who need assistance to arrive early because supplies are limited.
