BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The City of Brownsville’s Department of Health, Wellness and Animal Services invites the community to celebrate the start of a new school year at a free Back-to-School Block Party on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at 655 E. St. Charles St.
Families can enjoy an evening filled with helpful resources and activities for children of all ages. The event will feature informational booths, free back-to-school supplies, face painting, games and health screenings.
The block party is designed to help students and families prepare for the upcoming school year while connecting them with valuable community services.
The event is free and open to the public. Residents are encouraged to bring the entire family and join the City of Brownsville for an evening of fun, wellness and back-to-school excitement.
