With a project budget of $250,000, the selected artist will design and install a signature piece that enhances the airport experience while reflecting the region’s unique character and community pride. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to elevate Brownsville’s visibility and create a memorable first impression for visitors.

The call for artists is open to creatives based in South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley. Applications are due by May 4, 2026.
