The City of Brownsville will welcome animal care professionals, advocates, and community members from across the Rio Grande Valley to the First Annual Paws Forward RGV Animal Care Summit on Wednesday, September 18, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brownsville Event Center, 1 Event Drive and Paredes Line Road. Admission is free.
The summit aims to connect and collaborate with individuals and organizations dedicated to improving animal welfare in the region. Attendees will have the opportunity to share resources, exchange ideas, and explore best practices in sheltering, rescue, and community outreach.
Highlights of the event include sessions on effective shelter management, networking opportunities, and discussions designed to create meaningful change in how animal care is approached across the Valley.
The Paws Forward RGV Animal Care Summit is made possible through the support of key partners, including BTX BARCC, the City of Brownsville Department of Health, Wellness, and Animal Services, Palm Valley Animal Society, Weslaco Animal Care Services, and Mission Animal Shelter.
