SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas – Fortunate Son, a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band, will perform Sept. 5 at the Cameron County Amphitheater during Labor Day weekend.
The concert is scheduled as a 1960s-themed summer celebration featuring songs associated with the influential American rock band. Fortunate Son bills itself as the longest-running CCR tribute act.
General-admission presale tickets are $15. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free. Stone seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and guests may bring blankets or small folding chairs.
Cameron County venue officials said the show is intended to give residents and holiday visitors an additional evening entertainment option during one of South Padre Island’s busiest weekends.
Tickets are available through TixPlug. Guests should confirm event policies and availability before traveling because the concert does not offer reserved seating.
