The Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation (GBIC) is proud to announce that Superior GHQ INC. has selected Brownsville as the site for its newest operation, bringing jobs, investment, and long-term growth potential to the region.

Located at 7204 Industrial Circle, Lot 3 in the North Brownsville Industrial Park, the company has broken ground on a 15,000-square-foot facility, with preparations in place to expand as demand grows for their products. The facility will support Superior’s core operations, which include metal fabrication activities to support clients in the USA and internationally.

Superior plans to hire 15 to 20 employees in its first year of operation, with a Phase 2 expansion expected to add 10 to 12 more jobs over the next 2 to 3 years. The company is also evaluating opportunities to consolidate other facilities and expand further in Brownsville, positioning the city as a central hub for its long-term growth.

The project represents a $3 to $4 million investment in Brownsville’s industrial sector and underscores the city’s growing reputation as a competitive location for advanced manufacturing.

“Superior GHQ’s decision to invest in Brownsville is a reflection of the region’s strong workforce, business-friendly environment, and the continued momentum we’re seeing in the industrial space,” said Gilberto Salinas, President and CEO of GBIC. “We’re proud to welcome them to our community and look forward to supporting their success.”

As part of its mission to foster sustainable economic development, GBIC has worked closely with Superior GHQ throughout the planning and development process— providing site selection assistance, guidance with permitting, and connecting the company with local partners to support long-term operational needs.
