The countdown is officially on! Brownsville’s most iconic celebration, Charro Days Fiesta 2026, is right around the corner, and the entire community is invited to join the vibrant tradition from February 21–28.
Now in its decades-strong legacy, Charro Days honors the city’s rich binational culture with a week full of festivities, including colorful parades, traditional attire, live music, and lively street dances that will transform downtown Brownsville into a cultural playground.
One of the highlights for families and thrill-seekers alike is the Charro Days Carnival, which opens on February 26 and runs through March 8, promising rides, games, food, and fun for all ages.
This annual event brings together residents and visitors from both sides of the border to celebrate unity, culture, and community spirit. From school children in traditional costumes to the Grand International Parade, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
