Music, Movement and Memories Fill TSC Scorpion Salsa Social

Texas Southmost College Scorpion Salsa Social brought Latin music, dancing and community celebration to Jacob Brown Auditorium on June 12.

The event, sponsored by the TSC Foundation and Charro Days Fiesta, was part of the college centennial celebration. Guests took part in salsa lessons, watched performances by local dance academies and enjoyed live music from Tito Puente Jr.

The evening celebrated the legacy of Tito Puente while highlighting the growing salsa dance community in Brownsville and the Rio Grande Valley.
