As the excitement for Charro Days begins to build across the city, organizers of the Sombrero Festival have officially announced the headliners for the 2026 celebration, promising one of the most energetic and diverse musical lineups in recent years.
This year’s Sombrero Festival, which takes place during Charro Days in late February, will feature high-energy acts across two main stages: the Big Tent and the Main Stage.
On the Big Tent lineup are fan favorites The Spazmatics, known for their fun-filled ’80s covers; 24K Magic, a tribute to the chart-topping hits of Bruno Mars; and Metal Shop Texas, bringing heavy-hitting rock nostalgia.
The Main Stage will feature a powerhouse of regional Mexican music, including legendary norteño band Los Invasores de Nuevo León, popular group Edwin Luna y La Trakalosa de Monterrey, and the iconic Conjunto Primavera, known for decades of hits that blend traditional and romantic styles.
The Sombrero Festival, a cornerstone of Charro Days festivities, is held annually in Washington Park and celebrates Brownsville’s unique bicultural heritage through music, food, and community spirit.
Tickets for Sombrero Festival 2026 will go on sale later this month. More details, including daily schedules and ticketing information, will be announced soon.
