Spring Break Adventure Day Camp Returns With Week of Fun for Brownsville Youth

Looking for a fun and active way to keep kids engaged during Spring Break? The City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation Department is inviting families to sign up for the 2026 Spring Break Adventure Day Camp, taking place March 16 through March 20, 2026.

Open to children and teens ages 5 to 17, the week-long camp will be held at the Downtown Recreation Center, located at 1338 E. 8th St., from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM each day. For just $35 per participant, campers will enjoy a full week of supervised activities, with breakfast, lunch, and a daily snack included.

The camp offers a wide variety of activities designed to keep youth active, creative, and connected. Participants will take part in sports, active games, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures such as kayaking and learning basic camp skills. Campers will also enjoy a special field trip to the Gladys Porter Zoo, adding even more excitement to the week.

Spring Break Adventure Day Camp provides a safe and welcoming environment where children can build friendships, develop new skills, and make lasting memories while school is out.

Parents can register their children online at cob.recdesk.com/Community/Program or call the Parks and Recreation Department at (956) 542-2064 for more information.
