RIO GRANDE VALLEY – UTRGV volleyball was picked to finish second in the Southland Conference preseason poll, setting high expectations for the Vaqueros entering the 2026 season.
The ranking reflects votes from conference coaches and sports information directors. UTRGV returns experienced players while preparing for a schedule that includes nonconference competition and a full Southland slate.
The Vaqueros will seek to turn the preseason recognition into another conference-title run as matches begin later this month.
