As part of the Wild Rose Lane Reconstruction Improvements Project, the westbound approach of Wild Rose Lane at Central Boulevard will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, July 13, 2026, to allow crews to complete sanitary sewer improvements.
Contractor RBM will perform work that includes the installation and connection of a sanitary sewer force main.
The closure will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 13, and is expected to remain in place until 5 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and should expect delays in the area. Traffic control devices and detour signage will be in place throughout the project to help maintain the safe flow of traffic.
The City of Brownsville appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as these infrastructure improvements are completed.
