Brownsville Public Library Launches Libby Digital Reading App for Ebooks and Audiobooks

The Brownsville Public Library System is expanding digital access for the community with the launch of Libby, a new eBook and audiobook platform that allows patrons to borrow library materials directly from their electronic devices.

With Libby, library cardholders can access digital books and audiobooks anytime and anywhere through an easy-to-use mobile app. The platform is designed to make browsing, borrowing, and reading seamless across smartphones, tablets, and computers.

Libby replaces the library’s previous digital platform, Boundless, offering an improved user experience and expanded accessibility for readers of all ages.

The Brownsville Public Library System remains committed to providing high-quality service by continually enhancing both traditional and nontraditional library offerings. The addition of Libby reflects the library’s dedication to meeting the evolving needs of the community and ensuring that resources are accessible beyond the physical library walls.

Library officials are enthusiastic about the new platform and encourage patrons to download the Libby app and begin exploring the digital collection.
