BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Realtor associations in Brownsville and Matamoros have signed a memorandum of understanding intended to strengthen professional cooperation across the border.
The agreement is expected to support information sharing, training and connections between real estate professionals serving the binational market. Participants said the relationship could help clients and investors better understand opportunities and requirements on both sides of the Rio Grande.
The partnership reflects the closely linked housing and commercial markets of Brownsville and Matamoros as both cities continue to attract new development.
