BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Brownsville’s City Commission meeting originally scheduled for Sept. 15 has been rescheduled to 5 p.m. Sept. 22 in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall.
The city said the meeting was moved because several commissioners were traveling to Washington, D.C., with the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce delegation, leaving the body without a quorum.
The agenda will be posted through the City of Brownsville’s Agendas and Minutes page in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the city said.
