STARBASE, Texas – A Starbase meeting that had been scheduled to consider annexing about 444 acres recently disannexed by Brownsville has been canceled, according to regional reporting. No new meeting date was announced in the report.
Brownsville’s City Commission approved disannexation of the property, located near South Connector Road east of the city landfill, on Sept. 2. City officials said at the time that the separate municipal-boundary action was not an exchange for SpaceX-related water infrastructure discussions.
