Brownsville Seeks Applicants for Environmental Task Force

BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The City of Brownsville is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on its Environmental Task Force, an advisory board intended to provide information and recommendations to the City Commission.

According to the city, the task force will consider environmental sustainability, community resilience and development-related issues. Its work is expected to include research and community input on matters affecting Brownsville residents.

Residents may apply through the City of Brownsville Public Service Application portal. The city said applications may be considered as vacancies become available or appointments are made.
