The City of Brownsville’s Office of the City Secretary, in partnership with the Cameron County District Clerk’s Office and the Cameron County Elections Department, will host a Passport, Birth Certificate & Voter Registration Fair on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
The event will take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the City Plaza Building, located at 1034 E. Levee St., and will provide residents with convenient access to essential government services in one location.
During the fair, attendees can apply for new passports or renew existing ones. Individuals who were born within the Brownsville city limits will also have the opportunity to obtain a certified copy of their birth certificate.
In addition, residents can register to vote or update their voter registration information ahead of the May 3 election.
City officials encourage the community to take advantage of this one-stop event to complete important documentation and stay engaged in the democratic process. More details, including required documents and hours of operation, will be shared closer to the event date.
