BROWNSVILLE, Texas – DHR Health will begin offering vascular surgery services Aug. 31 at its Brownsville Multispecialty Clinic, expanding access to specialty care for patients in Cameron County.
Vascular surgeon Dr. Gabriel Gonzalez will see patients at the clinic, 4770 N. Expressway. Services will include evaluation and treatment for peripheral artery disease, limb salvage, carotid disease, aneurysms, dialysis access, venous disorders and vascular trauma.
Gonzalez is a Rio Grande Valley native who earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He completed general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine.
DHR Health said the Brownsville location will allow patients to receive consultations and follow-up care closer to home while maintaining access to the hospital system’s broader specialty network.
