The City of Brownsville’s Department of Engineering and Public Works Traffic Department is advising motorists of temporary lane closures on International Boulevard from Monday, Aug. 3, through Tuesday, Aug. 4.
The Texas Department of Transportation will conduct striping work along International Boulevard between the Expressway and Wilson Street. Work is scheduled daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Crews will close one lane at a time, and no detours are anticipated. Motorists should expect possible delays, allow extra travel time, use caution and follow posted traffic-control devices.
Businesses and commuters in the area are encouraged to plan accordingly while the work is underway.
