The Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation, in partnership with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center, is gearing up for RGV Startup Week 2026, set to take place from April 24 through May 1, with events happening across Brownsville and partner cities throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
As the event approaches, excitement continues to build among founders, entrepreneurs, and small business owners eager to connect, gain visibility, and access practical tools to grow their ventures. Organizers say this year’s event will build on that momentum, delivering even more opportunities and resources to support the region’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.
RGV Startup Week 2026 will feature more than 120 hours of programming, including workshops, panels, and networking events. Many sessions will also be live-streamed, making it easy for participants to join from anywhere. Last year’s event drew more than 1,300 registrations from across Texas, highlighting the region’s expanding innovation community.
As part of the lineup, Teach For America Rio Grande Valley will host its second annual Youth Panel on Tuesday, April 28, from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. at the eBridge Center for Business and Commercialization in Brownsville.
With something for everyone—from those just exploring a business idea to seasoned entrepreneurs—RGV Startup Week offers a dynamic space to learn, collaborate, and be inspired as the countdown to this highly anticipated event begins.
