South Padre Island administrative offices will be closed Friday, July 3, 2026, in observance of Independence Day.
The city also reminded residents that bulky items may be placed in the right-of-way from June 25 through the end of the month. Republic Services is expected to collect eligible items during the first three business days of July.
Residents with concerns involving streets, parks or green spaces may contact the city’s Public Works Cares program.
