BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Work has moved into the next phase of the million Wildrose Lane reconstruction project, with crews now working between Honeydale Road and Central Boulevard.
The project includes reconstruction of the roadway, sidewalks, bike lanes and upgrades to underground water, wastewater and gas lines. Contractors recently completed paving the southern half of the roadway and are preparing work on the northern half, according to the City of Brownsville.
The city expects the project to be completed in November and asked motorists to watch for traffic changes and detours during construction.
