BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The Cannery Public Market is nearing opening day, with a new space planned for fresh food, local vendors, health and wellness programming and community resources.
Located across from Linear Park, the market is expected to host farmers-market activity, food assistance, cooking and fitness classes, special events and opportunities for local entrepreneurs. The City of Brownsville said a commercial kitchen is planned for 2027.
The kitchen would provide local businesses and food entrepreneurs a larger space to prepare and produce products, according to the city.
