Adult computer literacy classes return to Brownsville Public Libraries in January

The Brownsville Public Library System is kicking off the New Year by bringing back its popular Adult Computer Literacy classes, offering residents a free opportunity to build confidence and essential skills in today’s digital world.

Designed for adults of all experience levels, the classes provide hands-on instruction in a supportive and welcoming environment. Participants can refresh existing knowledge or learn new computer skills that are increasingly important for everyday tasks such as job searching, communication, and accessing online services.

Classes will be held on January 6, 13, 20, and 27 at two library locations to accommodate community members across the city. Morning sessions will take place at the Southmost Branch, located at 4320 Southmost Blvd., beginning at 10:30 a.m. Evening sessions will be offered at the Main Branch, located at 2600 Central Blvd., starting at 5:00 p.m.

All sessions are free and open to the public, reinforcing the library system’s commitment to lifelong learning and digital inclusion for the Brownsville community.
