HARLINGEN, Texas – A renovated UTHealth Houston Mobile Clinic has opened at Texas State Technical College’s Harlingen campus, expanding access to health services for students, employees and the surrounding community.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Oct. 22 at the TSTC Service Support Center, 1902 N. Loop 499. The mobile clinic has served Harlingen for more than three decades, according to officials.
The unit offers health screenings, chronic-disease management and telemedicine services. Services are provided at no cost, according to coverage of the opening.
The clinic is intended to reduce barriers to preventive and routine care by bringing services to a campus setting.
