BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Texas Southmost College will welcome current and prospective students, alumni and families to Sting Day, a free back-to-school celebration scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 22.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jacob Brown Auditorium, 600 International Blvd. Activities will include food, music, games, interactive experiences and giveaways for attendees of all ages.
Visitors will be able to explore campus resources, connect with student organizations, learn about academic and support services, and receive help registering for classes.
College officials said Sting Day is intended to help students and families prepare for the fall semester while introducing prospective students to the campus and Scorpion traditions. Admission is free and the event is open to the community.
