EDINBURG, Texas – South Texas Health System will host its fourth annual Baby Bump & Beyond Expo on Saturday, Aug. 22, offering information and resources for expectant parents and families with newborns.
The free event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at STHS Edinburg, 1102 W. Trenton Road. The Maternity Centers at STHS Edinburg and STHS McAllen are organizing the expo.
Hospital staff and community partners will provide presentations on pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum care and newborn health. The event will also include health screenings, exercise demonstrations, tours and exhibitors offering family services and products.
Organizers said the expo is designed to help parents prepare for childbirth, understand available maternity care and connect with health professionals in one setting.
